Looks like the wiikey is closer to releasing an update for the mod chip.

From their website:

A release candidate for the long-awaited update for wiikey was delivered on Friday night to some of our beta testers. This is the final step to releasing the highly anticipated and long delayed update for wiikey.

In all development work there are unforeseeable delays, and wiikey is no exception. We would like to thank our loyal customers for their support and patience!

New design to combat mod chippers

This pic is from a PAL wii purchased in the Netherlands:

From our forum

It appears to be no modchips are compatible to it. It seems that these D2C chips have been re-worked on the inside and the points that we need are completely changed, they cut them on the D2Bs and now it may be the fact that they have took them away inside completely even though they are still on the outside.

Wii Fit Parody (Think MS Surface Parody)

They did it again another hilarious parody found on youtube...

Just watch it, however I still want the little white thing you stand on!

Wii Flash Exploit

A security bulletin released 4 days ago by Adobe, tells us that the Flash Player used by the Internet Channel can be exploited to execute arbitrary code because of an input validation error in flash. This might be a opening for hackers to create some kind of homebrew launcher, and Nintendo has to pay to get a unaffected version of the Flash player from Adobe. This means that this security hole might not be patched as fast as the last one. Official Release

The Wii Party Station (photos)

This is great! From Gizmodo:"We just got a hands on with Nyko's Wii Party Station and we can safely say that it's crazy. Nintendo planning to milk its Wii shortage through the holidays

You know, we could understand a few months of Wii shortages, and perhaps we'd let Nintendo slip by the seven month mark with a mild slap on the wrist, but this recent announcement of shortages through the 2007 holidays is just plain annoying. "There is no guarantee that we are not going to have 'out-of-stocks' this holiday season,"..

Metroid Prime :: Corruption coming August 27th! And it's freaking awesome!

Bad ass pics here... I don’t know what those folks at Retro studious did, but strafing, and run ‘n’ gun tactics have never felt so good or so natural before. Without even thinking about it, you become immersed in the game; running, jumping and rolling through levels like you were born to it. Oh, and the camera? Perfect.
