It looks like the new wiikey firmware update works with clones after all. So even if someone sold you a clone without your knowledge it looks like you will be ok.

DVD's now playable on the Wii

Homebrew software YAOSM 1.8 has been recently released by Team Symbiote that allows playback of DVDs on the Nintendo Wii. This does require your Wii to be modded.
